Acupressure for Sexual Health: 5 Needle Protocol (5NP)

Therapeutic effect from touching ears has been around for millennia, and when it comes to sexual health, ears can be easy to ignore in favor of spicier organs. The sensitivity and resilience of ears make them unique points of access to the body, especially for anyone struggling with embodiment.

5NP (Five Needle Protocol) Acupressure for Sexual Health is a transformative class designed to help individuals enhance their overall wellness through the ancient practice of acupressure. This class is suitable for all experience levels. Under the expert guidance of a seasoned ear acupuncture practitioner, participants will learn the history of 5NP, how to apply pressure to specific points on the ear to stimulate energy flow, alleviate stress, and enhance physical and emotional connection (~30 minutes of instruction). Participants will then receive the full 5NP at their comfort level (~45 minutes of receiving/relaxing).

Throughout the course, students will gain a deep understanding of the community service history and holistic benefits of 5NP, emphasizing its role in promoting relaxation, reducing tension, and enhancing overall well-being. By integrating these techniques into their daily routine, participants can cultivate a more fulfilling and harmonious intimate life. 5NP Acupressure for Sexual Health not only imparts valuable physical techniques but also encourages a holistic approach to well-being. About the Instructor:  Sarah LaRue, MS RC AAT is a queer counselor of 10 years who has been  practicing 5NP (Five Needle Protocol) ear acupuncture and acupressure  since 2021. She initially trained with the National Acupuncture  Detoxification Association (NADA), and in 2023 she chose to re-train with the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA)  as an Auricular Acupuncture Technician (AAT) in light of the group's  emphasis on equity and trauma responsiveness. Sarah has been a nerd her  whole life, and has her master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling (MS  RC), supporting her guiding light of equity and access from a  disability lens. Sarah credits 5NP with teaching her how to sleep.
