About the event
Ridding Yourself of Sexual Shame is a transformative, body-positive class designed to help you confront, unpack, and release the lingering effects of sexual shame. Whether your shame stems from societal conditioning, religious teachings, trauma, or cultural taboos, this class offers a supportive space to begin healing. Through guided journaling, group discussion, and gentle somatic exercises, we’ll explore how shame lives in the body and how it can be compassionately uprooted.
Participants will be encouraged to move at their own pace as we work through themes like pleasure, consent, self-expression, and internalized judgment. We’ll break down toxic myths around sexuality and replace them with affirming truths rooted in self-acceptance, empowerment, and choice. The class invites you to show up as you are—messy, curious, tender, bold—and to begin rewriting your sexual story with honesty and agency.
