Somatic Self-Tying

Somatic Self-Tying is a hands-on workshop exploring rope as a somatic tool for connecting deeply with yourself. This class will open with an  overview of somatics and the chakra system to provide a baseline  understanding and some tools on how to more intentionally 'tune in' to  the wisdom and insight stored in the body. We will then move into some  basic rope handling techniques and skills, along with an exploration of  how rope can enhance self-exploration and somatic processing. To  integrate the knowledge and skills we will touch on, the workshop will  end with a guided meditation and somatic exploration followed by some  time for reflection and some discussion on how to develop your own  somatic self-tying practice.

This workshop is  suitable for all levels, and no prior experience with rope or somatics  is required. Please do bring your own rope if you have some, but there  will be some…
