Chlamydia

Chlamydia often presents with a strange discharge from the genitals and a burning sensation during urination. You might experience dull pain in your lower abdomen, discomfort during sex, itching, and irritation around your genitals. Women might notice unusual bleeding between periods.

Transmission: Chlamydia is primarily transmitted through vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who is infected.

Prevention: The best ways to avoid chlamydia are to use condoms during sex, engage in a mutually monogamous relationship with a partner who has tested negative for STIs, and get regular STI screenings.
