Building Confidence Through Burlesque

Burlesque isn’t just about taking your clothes off—it’s about taking up space, owning your body, and deciding exactly how you want to be seen. Whether you’re naturally confident or still working on believing you belong in the spotlight, burlesque can be a playful way to explore confidence, self-expression, and body positivity.

In this class, you’ll learn how burlesque performers use movement, attitude, character, and a little bit of theatrical sass to command attention. We’ll work on posture, stage presence, movement, and finding the confidence to let yourself be seen. No performance experience—or particular body type—is required. In fact, feeling a little nervous is perfectly normal!

Come ready to laugh, move, experiment, and discover what happens when you stop worrying about whether you’re doing it “right” and start owning the room. You don’t have to become a burlesque performer to benefit from burlesque—sometimes you just need permission to feel fabulous.
