Who can visit the museum?
The museum is open to visitors of all ages. Families, students, educators, and curious guests are welcome to explore the exhibits together.
Are classes and events all-ages?
Most classes and special events are for ages 18 and up unless a specific event is clearly marked as all-ages.
Is the museum accessible?
Yes. The Sexploratorium is fully accessible, including access for all types of wheelchairs and mobility devices.
How much is the museum?
The museum is $15 per person unless you have an EBT card and then it's only $1 per person. Kids under 18 are free with an adult.
Can I touch the exhibits?
Yes! The entire museum is designed to be touched and explored. We believe hands-on learning helps make sexuality education more engaging and memorable.
How long does a museum visit take?
Most guests spend 30–60 minutes exploring the exhibits, though you’re welcome to stay longer and revisit your favorite displays.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have a parking lot in front of our building. During events it does fill up quickly, so people park in the neighborhood, generally without problems.
Is there nudity?
The only nudity at the Sexploratorium occurs during our nude yoga classes. Our other classes, workshops, performances, and museum experiences do not include participant nudity. There is nudity during our burlesque/drag shows.
Can I ask personal questions?
Absolutely. Our educators are happy to answer respectful personal questions and provide educational information. However, we are not therapists, counselors, or medical providers, so we cannot provide therapy, diagnosis, or individualized treatment advice.
What is a Kink Tasting?
A Kink Tasting is an educational experience where participants learn about BDSM and other kink activities through demonstrations, explanations, and discussion. It’s designed to help people explore their interests in a safe, welcoming environment.
Is the Sexploratorium LGBTQ+ affirming?
Yes. The Sexploratorium is queer-owned and proudly welcomes people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures. Our education is inclusive, affirming, and rooted in current scientific understanding.

All classes and most special events at the Sexploratorium are for those ages 18 and up unless specifically stated otherwise.
There is no sexual play or touch between participants or oneself during classes. We invite you to learn new skills and information in a safe educational environment, then decide how to apply that knowledge in your own life.
