About the event

This class offers practical guidance on broaching age-appropriate conversations about the sexual response cycle, masturbation, consent, and sexual health.

In a supportive environment, participants will explore techniques for discussing these topics with sensitivity and openness, emphasizing the importance of fostering healthy attitudes towards sexuality. Special attention will be given to addressing issues of consent, teaching children to navigate their early sexual experiences with respect and communication.

Additionally, the class delves into the exploration of sexual orientation, providing insights and tools to approach this topic in an inclusive and affirming manner. Conquering the Fear of Talking To Your Kids About Sex aims to equip parents and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to create an open dialogue about sexuality, fostering a space where children can navigate their sexual development with confidence and understanding.

Continuing Education Credits: We can provide a paper or electronic certificate of completion.

We’re Denver’s home for research-based, shame-free, embodied, and inclusive sex education.  Everything you should have learned in high school and more.  We believe sex education should be pleasure-focused and accessible to all!
