About the event

Are you a mental health professional looking to enhance your expertise and support your clients in navigating the complex world of sexual anxieties? Or are you struggling with sexual anxiety yourself? The Sexploratorium presents a specialized class just for you!

Our course is tailor-made for mental health practitioners, providing you with the knowledge and evidence-based strategies to address sexual anxieties effectively and sensitively. Gain tools and ideas to foster an open and non-judgmental dialogue about sexual concerns with your clients, creating a safe space for them to share their experiences.

Challenge societal taboos and misconceptions surrounding sexuality to create a more inclusive and accepting therapeutic environment. Dive deep into the various forms of sexual anxieties, their origins, and manifestations. Empower your clients, empower yourself!

Continuing Education Credits: We can provide a paper or electronic certificate of completion.

We’re Denver’s home for research-based, shame-free, embodied, and inclusive sex education.  Everything you should have learned in high school and more.  We believe sex education should be pleasure-focused and accessible to all!

About the Instructor:  Fawn O’Breitzman has been a college professor for over 20 years. She specializes in issues of Sex and Gender and presents at Transgender conferences all around the country. She does inclusion training for businesses and has worked with everyone from hospitals to construction yards to help companies make sure they are providing the best and most respectful care to their clients. She has been a social worker and therapist, as well as a wife and a mother. She has worked with countless people who have overcome negative sexual experiences.

Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot now.  Our classes are research-based and educational, but are not meant to replace expert medical advice or care.  All of our classes are for people 18 years of age and older.
