About the event

Explore the profound impact of sexual shame and learn practical strategies to overcome it in our transformative class, "Overcoming Sexual Shame." This class delves into the origins of sexual shame, examining how cultural, societal, and personal influences shape our perceptions of sexuality. Led by a compassionate and knowledgeable instructor, this class aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can gain a deeper understanding of their experiences and start their journey toward healing.

Throughout the session, we will uncover the roots of sexual shame, discussing how factors such as upbringing, religion, media, and societal norms contribute to feelings of guilt and embarrassment. Our instructor will offer insights into how these influences create negative beliefs and behaviors around sexuality. By recognizing these sources, participants can begin to dismantle the barriers that prevent them from experiencing a healthy and fulfilling sexual life.

In addition to exploring the origins of shame, this class provides concrete, actionable steps to work through these feelings and emerge stronger on the other side. Participants will learn techniques for self-compassion, communication, and boundary-setting, all aimed at fostering a positive and shame-free approach to sexuality. By the end of the class, attendees will be equipped with the tools and confidence needed to navigate their sexual journeys with openness and self-acceptance. Join us for an empowering experience that paves the way to a liberated and joyful sexual self.
