About the event
Welcome to "Pleasure Through Play" at the Sexploratorium, a dynamic and interactive class focused on reigniting passion and joy in your sex life by embracing the power of playfulness.
In this class, we'll explore how incorporating elements of play can transform your intimate experiences, fostering deeper connections, increased pleasure, and enhanced communication with your partner(s). Whether you're in a long-term relationship, exploring new dynamics, or seeking to reignite the spark, this class offers valuable insights and techniques. By embracing the idea of playfulness, you'll not only enhance your sexual experiences but also strengthen your emotional connection and overall well-being.
Couples, triads, and even singles welcome: we will learn techniques you can take into your next relationship(s) if you're not currently partnered!
Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and invented games and exercises, participants will learn how to let go of inhibitions, tap into their creativity, and explore new avenues of pleasure and intimacy. We'll delve into the importance of laughter, spontaneity, and imagination in sexual expression, encouraging a lighthearted and adventurous approach to lovemaking. From sensual games to role-play scenarios, you'll discover playful ways to enhance arousal, deepen connection, and cultivate a sense of fun and excitement in your sexual encounters.
Of special note: we'll discuss the practice of "building containers" for specific types of play (something the kink community has done well to teach the larger culture).
Your instructor, Headmistress Stina French (ex-college English professor, author/editor/publisher, sex educator, and proud kinkster), has 20+ years of experience in creating and fostering safe spaces in both college and kink environments. They aim to create a welcoming and non-judgmental space where participants can openly discuss both their desires and boundaries.
