Who is this class for? 

Were you taught as a kid that sex is shameful or dirty? 

Did you experience the purity culture movement? 

Do you have religious trauma around your sexuality, gender, or sex in general? 

Do you experience shame in your sexual life now? 

Do you want to experience more freedom and empowerment through embracing many forms of pleasure?

Then this class is for you!

What will you experience during this class?  

- Psychoeducation on the impacts of purity culture and religious trauma towards pleasure.

- Dialogue with others who have experienced this.

- Open discussion of ways this form of sexual trauma can show up in the mind and body.

- An overview of healing strategies to reconnect with pleasure in nonsexual, sensual, and sexual ways.

-Exploration of your new narratives of what pleasure means to you.

- Mindfulness tools to connect to pleasure.

What will you take away following this class? 

- A knowledge that you’re not alone and the experience of connecting with others who are recovering! 🙂

- A deeper understanding of what you believe now about pleasure 

- Next steps for how you want to connect to pleasure in your life.

- A toolkit for cultivating pleasure- in playful, sensual, and sexual ways. 

- A resource list for exploring this more.

About the Instructor:  

Hi! I'm Sarah Kate (aka SK) Wilder. I'm a Licensed Therapist, pan &  poly person and survivor of religious trauma. I am so grateful to  connect and provide tools to support your healing from adverse religious  experiences.  I hope this workshop will be a space  of empowerment, to move through shame and fear toward owning your  worthiness and authentic self.
