About the event
Earthly Entanglement is excited to present Rope for Embodiment: A Guided Self-Tying Workshop. This interactive class is designed to guide participants through some somatic self-exploration, drawing on yin yoga sequences enhanced with rope. An overview of self-tying and some foundational technical skills will be covered, but the primary focus of the workshop is to enable attendees to explore how rope can be used as a tool for deeper connection to self in a series of guided meditative positions. In contrast to the free-flow format of Somatic Self-Tying, this workshop offers a more step-by-step approach for those interested in a more structured practice.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, and no prior experience with rope or somatics is required. Please do bring your own rope if you have some, but there will be some rope to lend out for the workshop if needed! Participants are also encouraged to bring notebooks/journals…
