About the event

Navigate the sensitive terrain of discussing masturbation with your children in this class, aimed at parents and caregivers.  Leave with essential tools and techniques for initiating age-appropriate conversations about the sexual response cycle and the topic of self-exploration. Special attention will be given to addressing body boundaries, consent, and distinguishing between appropriate and inappropriate types of touch. This informative session aims to equip parents and professionals with the knowledge and communication skills needed to create a supportive environment for open discussions. With nurturing guidance, children can learn to a have a healthy understanding of their own bodies and navigate their sexual development with confidence and respect for themselves and others.

Continuing Education Credits: We can provide a paper or electronic certificate of completion.

We’re Denver’s home for research-based, shame-free, embodied, and inclusive sex education.  Everything you should have learned in high school and more.  We believe sex education should be pleasure-focused and accessible to all!  

About the instructor: Fawn O’Breitzman has been a college professor for over 20 years. She specializes in issues of Sex and Gender and presents at Transgender conferences all around the country. She does inclusion training for businesses and has worked with everyone from hospitals to construction yards to help companies make sure they are providing the best and most respectful care to their clients. She is a cis-gender lesbian married to a gender-queer individual. They are raising their two kids with their gay male best friend.
